I Think I Might Be Cursed

When this week began, I expected everything to be normal and great, but I had nothing but problem after problem. First, my car wouldn’t start when it was time for me to leave for work. It’s a good thing that I woke up early that morning, because if I didn’t I would have been late for work. Then when I got home from work, I turned on the air conditioner, only for it to not work, meaning that I would have to get AC repair in Queens. There was nothing I could do about it that night, so I just went to bed with the fan blowing on me for cool air. When my alarm clock sounded the next day to wake me up, I hit it and it fell off of the dresser. When it hit the ground, the clock stopped working.

I figured that I had been cursed by someone to experience such bad luck. I couldn’t think of anything bad that I might have done, like broken a mirror or stepped on someone’s shoes. I guess good fortune just wasn’t on my side. I had to do some research to find a good mechanic to fix the car and a repair company to fix the air conditioner. As for the clock, all I had to do was go to the store and buy a new one. I paid a little bit more than I did for the first clock, but there wasn’t much I could do about that.

Once I found a good mechanic, I left the car with them to do the repairs. As for the air conditioner, I contacted a repair company and they came over to my home to fix it. Even though my problems were bad and made me feel down, at least I was able to resolve them.
